Italian Subject Pronouns
Italian subject pronouns are very similar to English subject pronouns (she, they, etc). However, Italian uses the the second person feminine pronoun "lei", as the formal version of "you".
Also, Italian is a "pro-drop" language, which means the subject can generally be implied from the verb tense. Thus, use of pronouns is optional and primarily for emphasis or clarification.
