Bien v Bueno
I read elsewhere on that Bueno is an adjective, and Bien is an adverb... But I am confused because don't you descibe something as being good by using bien? Ej. "Esta burrito es muy bien"? Since it is describing a noun, wouldn't it be an adjective in that case? Or is that just an odd departure from grammar...? Dec 15 2008 2:23 AM

It was as if she were...
¿Cómo se dice "It was as if she were a student instead of the teacher"? Escribiría como "Era como si fuera estudiante, no maestra." Pero probablamente no es correcta. Dec 10 2008 9:29 PM

Es or Está?
I heard on a Spanish lession this statement: ¿A que distancia es el hotel? I'm confused because the above statement refers to a location and think that verb está should be used. Why would one use es? ¡Nos Vemos! Nov 23 2008 8:05 PM
